Doodle for Google
There is something kids can do to get recognition and Google knows exactly what it is. Today (02/03/09), Google announced their second annual Dodle 4 Gogle contest in the U.S.
Do you know what is Doodles 4 Google ? These are the special “dress-up” logos that Google runs on their homepages (Google search) for holidays and other events. According to Google’s blog, ” Doodle 4 Google is an opportunity for one child to have his/her artwork displayed on our homepage as a doodle for hundreds of millions of people to see. This year’s theme is “What I Wish for the World,” as we really want to tap into not only children’s creativity but also what they want their future to look like.”
If you feel your kid us creative enough tell him to join the contest. Let the kids creativity be shown to millions of people that uses Google search.
Registration closes at 11:59:59 PM Pacific time on March 17, 2009 and entries are due by 11:59:59 PM Pacific time on March 31, 2009. Teachers, you’ll find everything you need to get started on the Registration page. Only teachers or school employees should register. Parents or students who are interested should contact their teacher to register them.
