KAY Benson is a woman that proposed to her boyfriend, George, on their first date. She really know the type of guy she wants. She proposed to her boyfriend as the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve 1948. Four weeks later, they were joined in a happy matrimony.
Mrs Benson said,“I wanted to propose as it was a leap year and I had a feeling he would say yes.” Nice, that worked out just as planned.
The couple celebrated their diamond anniversary with their family at their home.They made the celebration simply by having a cake and flowers. According to Mrs Benson, “We’ve had a very happy marriage. The difficult things have brought us closer and we’ve struggled on together.”
