Police: David Kellermann is Found Dead
David Kellermann, 41 years old Freddie Mac Acting Chief Financial Officer was found dead early today in his home in the Washington metropolitan area.
According to the Fairfax County Police Officer Shelley Broderick , there were no evidence of foul play, but the death is under investigation. Broderick said that Kellermann’s wife was the person that reported the suicide. Fairfax county police officers at the scene have not determined the cause of the death.
Kellermann joined Freddie in 1992 and was promoted from controller to acting CFO after the government takeover in Septembe. According to Freddie’s Web site, when Kellermann was a controller, he was the principal accounting officer, who was dealing with financial statements and disclosures of the company.
