Former Nets forward and ex-superstar, Jayson Williams, is now under psychological evaluation in a Manhattan hospital after authorities said he was acting “suicidal” and “violent” in a NY hotel room this morning. He was arrested and taken to the hospital after turning his hotel room upside down.
Current News Blog learnt that Williams, 41, was arrested at 4 a.m by the police. The police officers were forced to use a taser gun to subdue him, before he could be taken to the hospital. Alcohol or prescription drug is rumored to be the cause of his strange behavior.
Williams was acquitted by a court of aggravated manslaughter in 2002 of an accidental shooting death of his limo driver, 55-year-old Costas “Gus” Christofi. But he is not yet off the hook from the law. Williams still faces a retrial for reckless manslaughter. I guess he would have a hard time finding a driver to take him to the hospital.
Rainbow Play Systems provided swing set to the Obamas at the White House yesterday, 4th March. Obviously, the swing set is for Malia and Sasha.
Obviously, the Obamas want to entertain their daughters. They still want the girls to have a youthful life.
According to the company’s Illinois distributor, “the Obamas chose South Dakota-based Rainbow Play Systems Inc because the swing set is made in the United States and one of the girls’ Chicago friends had a similar set”.

The present talk in Israel is the female candidate running for Israel’s parliament. Her name is Orly Levy. She is a former fashion model running for Parliament from the state’s hard-right Israel Beitenu Party. There have been parodies of her on Wags, Israel’s version of “Saturday Night Live”. Levy admits her political experience is thin.She is the Sarah Palin of Israel. But unlike Palin, it seems she is destined to win.
