Cocktail wins For the Love of Ray J

At last, her hard work wasn’t in vain. Joanna Hernandez, aka Cocktail, was the winner for the vh1 television show, for the love of Ray J.

Joanna got the name Cocktail from the dating competition show because she was an actual part-time cocktail waitress. Don’t underestimate the power of love, she went from a waitress to a celebrity. She won Ray J heart because she was the woman that Ray J thought she was down to earth.

Cocktail was a former social worker and a go-go dancer. She was also on a prior reality TV show, The Bad Girls Club as a contestant. Cocktail appeared on only six episodes of the first season of The bad Girls Club.

Scott MacIntyre Is Voted Off American Idol

Scott MacIntyre was voted off American Idol on April 8th. MacIntyre had the lowest voted count. Simon Cowell said “I really, really like you, Scott. I’m looking over there, and I think there’s a bunch of talented singers. This decision isn’t just based on you. It’s whether I think — or we think — someone is more talented over there. This is the problem.”

MacIntyre was joined by Lil Rounds, a 24-year-old mother of three from Memphis, Tenn., and Anoop Desai, a 22-year-old college student from Chapel Hill, N.C.

MacIntyre closed the show with a performance of “The Search is Over”.

The seven Idol contestants remaining are Adam Lambert, Desai, Rounds, Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Matt Giraud and Allison Iraheta.

Also, there was a surprise appearance by Frankie Avalon, a classical favorite singer of the 1950s. Avalon sang “Venus.”

Adam Lambert Get A Standing Oviation From Simon For Mad World On Idol

On tuesday night, April 7th, American idol contestant, Adam Lambert got a standing ovation from Simon Cowell after singing Mad World by Tears for Fears (a British rock band). After Lambert finishing singing, and it was Simon’s turn to comment on the performance, Simon said said, ‘I think words are unnecessary but I want to give you a standing ovation.”. Then Simon stood on his feets to give Lambert a standing ovation.

Danny Gokey sang “Stand By Me”.

Kris Allen sang “All She Wants to Do Is Dance”:

Lil Rounds sang “What’s Love Got To Do With It”.

Allison Iraheta sang “I Can’t Make You Love Me”.

Matt Giraud sang “Part-Time Lover”.

The best performance among the 8 contestants was from Adam Lambert. For Simon Cowell to stand up and give a standing ovation, then it is good.
